DERMA WAX

Grimas Derma Wax is een goed aan de huid hechtende transparante was voor professionele grimeerdoeleinden, waarmee diverse verwondingen en vervormingen op de huid kunnen worden gemaakt. Door de samenstelling hecht Derma Wax ook langdurig aan zachte en beweeglijke delen van de huid en blijft elastisch.
Derma Wax is verkrijgbaar in een verpakking van 25 ml en 60 ml.

Werkwijze
Schraap met de bolle ronde kant van de Derma Wax Spatel de Derma Wax uit de pot. Door te schrapen, maakt u de textuur alvast een beetje soepel. Vervolgens maakt u de was werkbaar door hem twee of drie keer met de spatel afwisselend aan te brengen op en weer af te schrapen van de muis van de hand. De was moet soepel maar ook stevig zijn en mag absoluut niet te zacht en te kleverig worden.

Breng de Derma Wax met de bolle ronde kant van de spatel aan op de huid en strijk de randen dicht zodat er geen vet of vocht onder kan komen. Met het topje van de vinger en een klein beetje Grimas Cleansing Cream strijkt u de Derma Wax glad en egaliseert u de randjes. Dep het geheel met een droog en schoon make-up sponsje. Hierdoor verwijdert u de overtollige Cleansing Cream en creëert u het effect van een 'huidstructuur'.
Poeder het geheel met een make-up sponsje met Grimas Transparent Powder om te matteren en te fixeren, draai het sponsje om en dep met de schone zijde door tot het overtollige poeder is weggewerkt.

Derma Wax is een transparante was. Wilt u bij een dik opgezette vervorming (bijvoorbeeld een dikke bult) de was op kleur brengen, dan kunt u dit doen met Grimas Crème Make-up Pure of Camouflage Make-up Pure. Poeder het geheel af met een make-up sponsje met Grimas Transparent Powder om te matteren en te fixeren, draai het sponsje om en dep met de schone zijde door tot het overtollige poeder is weggewerkt.

Voor het maken van een 'open wond' wordt de Derma Wax opbouw 'opengesneden' met de scherpe kant van de Derma Wax Spatel. Vet de punt van de spatel in met een klein beetje Cleansing Cream. Hierdoor zal de spatel makkelijker door de Derma Wax glijden en zal deze niet aan de spatel blijven kleven.

Door het openwerken van de wondranden creëert u een gehavend effect. Wip met de met Cleansing Cream licht ingevette Derma Wax spatel de 'wondranden' op. Doe dit voorzichtig.
Inkleuren: Om diepte in de 'wond' te suggereren, kleurt u de bodem in met zwarte make-up. De binnenkant van de wond kleurt u vervolgens in met donkerrode make-up (Grimas Water Make-up Pure of Crème Make-up Pure).

Verwijderen
Schraap de Derma Wax met de spatel van de huid.
Masseer de huid in met Grimas Multi Remover Pure of Cleansing Cream.
Herhaal de bovenstaande 2 stappen zoveel keer als nodig. Indien er een lichte filmvorming op de huid ontstaat, deze nareinigen met Grimas Cleansing Lotion.

DERMA WAX

Grimas Derma Wax is a transparent wax that adheres to the skin well, used for professional make-up effects such as creating various wounds and deformities on the skin. Its composition means that Derma Wax also adheres long lasting to soft and mobile parts of the skin, staying elastic.
Derma Wax comes in 25 ml and 60 ml packs.

Procedure
Use the convex rounded side of the Derma Wax Spatula to take Derma Wax out of the jar. By scraping it out, you already make the texture a bit flexible. You then make the wax easier to model by applying it to the ball of your thumb and scraping it off again with the spatula two or three times. The wax must be flexible but also firm and must definitely not be allowed to get too soft and sticky.

Apply Derma Wax to the skin with the convex rounded side of the spatula and smooth the edges down so that grease and moisture cannot get underneath. Smooth the Derma Wax surface and edges off with the fingertip, using a little bit of Grimas Cleansing Cream. Dab all over with a dry, clean make-up sponge. Doing this, you remove the excess Cleansing Cream and you create a skin-texture effect.
Powder the whole with a make-up sponge with Grimas Transparent Powder to matt and fix it; then turn the sponge over and continue dabbing with the clean side until the excess powder has been removed.

Derma Wax is a transparent wax. If you want the wax to have the proper colour when used more thickly to create a deformation (a large lump, for instance), you can do this using Grimas Crème Make-up Pure or Camouflage Make-up Pure. Powder off with a make-up sponge with Grimas Transparent Powder to matt and fix it, then turn the sponge over and continue dabbing with the clean side until the excess powder has been removed.

To create an 'open wound', the Derma Wax construction has to be 'cut open' with the sharp side of a Derma Wax spatula. Lubricate the tip of the spatula with a little bit of Cleansing Cream. This will allow the spatula to slide more easily through the Derma Wax, preventing it from sticking to the spatula.

Opening the wound edges up allows you to create a tattered effect. Raise the 'wound edges' using a Derma Wax spatula, lightly lubricated with Cleansing Cream. Do this carefully.
Colouring: To add a suggestion of depth to the 'wound', colour the bottom of the wound using black make-up. Then you colour the inner side of the wound with dark red make-up (Grimas Water Make-up Pure or Crème Make-up Pure).

Removal
Scrape the Derma Wax off the skin with the spatula.
Massage Grimas Multi Remover Pure or Cleansing Cream into the skin.
Repeat the above 2 steps as many times as necessary. If a slight film forms on the skin, cleanse it afterwards with Grimas Cleansing Lotion.
